- Download the App from the App Store, it's around 8G
- Once the Application opens up, Command+Q to close
- Open terminal to create the Catalina ISO file
- hdiutil create -o /tmp/Catalina -size 8500m -volname Catalina -layout SPUD -fs HFS+J
- hdiutil attach /tmp/Catalina.dmg -noverify -mountpoint /Volumes/Catalina
- sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Catalina.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Catalina/ --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Catalina.app --no interaction
- Create a new VM in Fusion using the ISO file you created
- Cheers.
